Trooper is a super cute German Shepherd baby, approximately 4 months old. He was rescued from ?death row? in a San Antonio, TX shelter. He is very emaciated and malnourished. He will need a family that can nurse him back to good health. At the time he was rescued he was put on an IV drip to get fluids in him the fastest and safest way possible. He has not been given the proper nutrition that he needed when he was younger and suspect that he had been crated in a crate too small. We are hopeful that his legs will have no long tern defects now that he is under great care! He is definitely a ?trooper?, hence his name, and a fighter! He is a total lover and just cannot get enough attention from all of the vet techs who are currently caring for him. Once he is able to get a bill of health for transport he will be on his way to Florida. I am pretty sure he will be an active boy and because of his young age we strongly suggest some basic manors training.
